Good Morning.

Christmas is coming...can you feel it? Are you starting to worry if your big Christmas musical presentation will come together? There are predictions in the air that this year's retail season will be (depending upon who you listen to) slow, unsettled, and/or grim. This might just be the year that the "average consumer's" attention will turn to things that have more worth. Reach out and "tell the old, old, story" this year with renewed vigor. I pray that God will work through each and every one of you and your musicians and your congregations as we remind people of the reason for the season.

Christmas is coming to the Creator Leadership Network as well. This Friday (I hesitate to call it Fantastic Friday, but I'll let you be the judge) we're doing something for the first time, and we hope that it turns into a regular thing. As you probably have guessed, among the CLN members who read Monday Morning Email each week, there are a number of publisher types. Here at Creator we get to see almost every new piece of sacred music published every year, as well as numerous books, recordings, and videos. One of these publishers Gener8xion Entertainment, has sent us pre-release copies of their new Dove Family-Approved holiday film: Noëlle. The plot revolves around a struggling congregation, its new pastor, and the power of love, forgiveness, and redemption. We have 5 of these DVDs that they have allowed us to give away, which we are going to do on Friday, November 21. We haven't figured out exactly how we are going to do that yet, but we'll announce that right here in this Monday Morning Email Blog no later than 5pm Pacific on Wednesday November 19. Bookmark this page so you can make sure to be first in line to benefit from the generosity of Gere8xion.

During the past week, a friend told me that people "get" a message better if it is presented in bullets, so to make sure you all "get" the rest of this missive, I'm trying it this week to see if it works.

· Last week we told you about our helpful financial resource offered by guest
MME contributor Angie Hollerich. Financial worries are on everybody's mind right now, and Angie has made it possible for us to offer her book Money: Is Not the Root of All Evil as an instant download. Just click here to get this wonderful resource now.

· Don't forget to take our brand new survey, which concerns children's music programs. Just click here.

· Remember that all of our Select 20 anthem reviews since 2004 are on our site, with more on the way. You must log in to see these, so log in and go here.

· This week's reminder about the many things available at our website to help you do your ministry better: Have you looked at our new MasterClass section of the website? Even if you have, you need to revisit, because we've added more content, and we are excited about what it is. New this week are 6 teleseminars on aspects of leadership, by authors such as Sally Morgenthaler and John Savage. This week's MME author, Doug Lawrence, is represented by two seminars on communication, including Seven Important Communication Values of Real Leaders. Just click here). You'll be glad you did. And, when you are finished doing that, why not stay a while and explore the rest of Creator's website? Thanks.

· Speaking of this week's MME, Doug has some important thoughts on what the high tech industry can teach us about how we do church. Don't miss this, it even has handy dandy charts! Start your reading by clicking here.

This week, pray for all those who are preparing special Christmas musical presentations, and please tell your friends and colleagues about Creator and MME too.

Blessings,
