An Efficient Easter Rehearsal Plan

I’ve talked about this before but it bears repeating. The next couple of weeks are probably going to be intense for a lot of you. And one of the challenges is fitting in an orchestral rehearsal during Holy Week.

There are two benefits to this. First, your life will be less frantic. Second, you have time to fix problems that arise in the dress rehearsal. I’ve been doing this for a few years now in order to not conflict with Maundy Thursday services, and I don’t think I’d ever go back…

Today’s Article

Today’s Article is our weekly Select 20 anthem review. This week’s music is a nice arrangement of There is a Redeemer by Lloyd Larson. It’s a mashup of the well known Melody Green tune with Duke Street, and the whole is greater than the sum of the parts. We highly recommend it. P.S. That rehearsal idea is the kind of thing you’ll find in my EBook The Choir in Modern Worship. It’s worth having, if only because of the 2 quick and easy ways I show you to imnprove the sound of any group of singers in less than 10 minutes (yes…even your worship team!).
